I'm just starting to work with the MindMapping tool. I use OmniOutliner quite a lot, but the graphical representation of my outlines are great when discussing ideas with colleagues. When using OmniOutliner, however, I can attach documents to my threads. This would be especially useful in your MindMapping tool. Is there anyway this can be achieved? I tried exporting from OminOutliner with a PDF attachment in OPML format but got neither the link nor an embedded attachment.
Hints, tips or tricks anyone?

Chris, OmniOutliner does not include information about attachments into OPML files it generates.
Why don't you use ConceptDraw MINDMAP outline view for outlining?

I have been using OmniOutliner for some time, so have rather a lot of outlines in OmniOutliner formats. One problem is that I was hoping to take existing outlines into ConceptDraw MindMap (but I lose the attachment details). The other problem is that I've become accustomed to attaching files to parts of my outlines which, sadly, using MindMap outline view won't resolve.
You can attach files to outline topics via hyperlink dialog. It works in both mind map and outline views.
Is that what you need or you've meant something else?

This is almost what I want. Unfortunately, its a link rather than an embedded copy of the file. Sadly, this reference brakes should files relocate or get deleted. However, it's better than nothing.
