Per default the duration of a phase is day. Is it possible to change the unit of the duration for example to hour or week?

sure, just change "d" into "w" for week or "h" for hour! "m" stands for minutes...

But the duration of a phase is readonly, it's calculated by the system.

But can't change the setting during the phase is activ, but you can set it to what ever value you wish to have it in, before it will become a phase!
