Hi - hope im not covering things already discussed here but i am looking to purchase software of this nature and wanted to ask a couple of questions pertaining to my needs.
I was hoping to use a program like Mindmap to act as a visual navigator on my website. I am dealing with large lists of documents, photos, video etc and would like to get away from the typical long dropdown lists commonly seen on the web. In collaboration with several institutions we have worked out a way of catagorising data in a very similar intuitive way to that in which mindmap operates.
What i wanted to know was whether this product is suited to operating in this way, whereby content is being added continuously to our site by not only ourselves as site admin but also by general users. Mindmap would therefore be required to communicate dynamically with our database updating and adding new nodes on a daily basis, slotting them into the visual according to various metatags that would be included with all uploaded data.
Can anyone tell me whether this would be the appropriate product for this function?
Many thanks...
