Hello,

I'm using ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5.3.2.0 on a german Windows Vista Business (64Bit) machine. Installation and using of MINDMAP so far no problem. But if I click on the Clipart dialog and change the view to "pictures view" (there are two toggle buttons) than MINDMAP eats all of my 2 GB memory and consumes more and more hard disk swap space, so in the end Vista crashes. There is apparently no end and it looks like an ugly bug.
Has somebody from the support read this?

Edit: OK, I think this company is dead. Somebody in the forum always argue there is no support. Now I know this was the truth.
Hello,
I am sorry for the long reply.
The problem can be with the folder "My pictures" If you have a lot of pictures there the program will download them all when you opening cliparts.

What is the size of this folder? I can suggest you to clean it.

Download? Where? Want the program copy the pictures to an own folder structure? Or it is just generating thumbnails?

Hm, the purpose of this folder is to collect image related files. So I think you have to think about the applications image handling concept? :)

The folder has a size of 417MB and some image files are 10MB in size. Maybe it would usefull to start this part of application processing, whatever there is to process, in a separate thread? So not the whole application or the whole system stops responding?
we will test this problem, and as soon as I know what is the reason, I will let you know.
Sorry for inconveniences.
Anna
