Hi
I'm a Beginner in your MM and have the first question already. I cannot make curved connection-lines as in your samples or in your videotrainings. My lines are always straight (see attached sample). How can I make curved connection-lines?
Thanks for helping and regards

Hi, please use
Format->Format Map
There you can choose any style for your topics, subtopics and callouts you need. Moreover you can change not only the shapes of your lines, but their color and style. In this dialog it is also possible to edit settings of the topics and subtopics, i.e. text size, text color, font, background.

Great, works fine. Thanks a lot.

Ann, to follow up with a related question: I don't see the Format>Format Map option. I have Topics, Relationship, Text, Hyperlink, Text Notes, Task Info, Page, Background and Map Theme as my Format menu options. I want to set the default text size for Topics and Sub-topics, but can't find where to do that.
Thank you,
Rudy Stricklan
What is your current version of ConceptDraw MINDMAP?

I'm not sure-- it was whatever download version was current as of a couple of weeks ago. I have since uninstalled the software-- it was crashing (apparently due to attached images on sub-topics). :*(
Hi Rudi,
the thing is that you were using version 4 and then you downloaded vesion 5, completely upgraded. That's why you cannot find FromatMap dialog.
I'd propose you to download and install the most recent version:

Well, I just uninstalled MM5, version 5.0.0.5, and downloaded and installed version 5.0.1.0, and when I drop down menu item Format, there is no Map option. I'd like to format for curved lines, etc. too.
To edit lines please open Line&Fill proporties Dialog:
and there you can set line color, style, etc.
