Hello, I have the same problem when exporting to ANY graphics format. I did use PNG, TIFF as well and the graphics is always very poor. The pixels are smoothened during export - at least that's what I see when I import the graphics to OpenOffice Write or when looking at them with Mac's Preview.

Am I doing something wrong? Are there settings that I did overlook? I need a crisp Black and White only image in my document. I don't care too much if the pixels would be identifiable in the printout.

Thanks for any suggestions, W.
I just discovered that there is a new version of CD7, version 7.5 available and downloaded it. Well, the graphics exporting function still doesn't work properly. The image formats (JPEG, Windows bitmap, TIFF) are still not producing black and white pictures, the text gets very unreadable.

Reverting back to Visio 2007, I exported an object there as a bitmap image. What should I say - it's absolutely no problem to export to TIFF, set the color level to 2 bits, set the resolution of the bitmap file (!) and you can export a perfect TIFF. Can someone please fix this in CD7.5?

I tried exporting to vector graphics as well and for curiosity tried to import it in GIMP. I cannot tell which program is doing it wrong but all text is shifted to another position.

I tried now the latest product version, CD 7.6, with unfortunately the same poor export results regarding quality. It makes no sense at all to export this quality and use it in any other document!

JayDee, WolfK,
please try the newest version - jpg, png and PDF are good now.
