I am using ConceptDraw 7.4 and when I type or edit text in a text box, it takes a few seconds for it to recognize the keystrokes.

To reproduce this problem: create a new blank file, insert text box, start typing some text. Select the text and change the font to Arial. Continue typing. The response time gets slower. Add a new page, and repeat the above, and note that the response time continues to get unusably slow.

Please post reply if you're experiencing the same issue.

How do we get the attention of folks @ Odessa.

This is a great product; I'd hate to have to stop using it because of this issue.

I am running Leopard on a MBP, specs below:

Hi look I'm having the same problem. text entry is impossibly slow, it just drags and drags, and the worst I've gotten is about 1 character per second, which is a bit of a wait, when you are doing a web page prototype or form design. (which I do all the time.)

It seems to choke terribly when you have grouped items as well, exhibiting similar behaviours.

It's really infuriating, and I really hope they fix it soon, because it's crippling me.

Both myself and my coworker are having the same problem, we recently got new macbook pro's with Leopard installed and CD 7.4 is very slow. We usually do our process mapping in client meetings, but with the speed as it is we're forced to use another product until CD is back up to par.

Please help, I really like Concept Draw.

I just got an email from CS Odessa saying that this problem should be resolved shortly in an upcoming CD 7.5 release.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Any word on when the 7.5 release might be out?

I'm on trail right now and like the product but won't buy it if this isn't resolved soon.

I've upgraded to 7.5 and the speed has increased slightly, but once you get more than 10 or 15 objects it becomes unusable (on a macbook running OS X 10.5).
