I'm really enjoying this programme. I've now learned how to create the blue task bars and display the deadlines for my sample project by entering info in the inspector.& 8th

My next queries are:

Six!
In Gantt Chart View, is it possible to view two projects simoultaneously? I'd like to be able to do this, because I want to show a client that while they are reviewing one aspect of a project, I can be working on another. Also to ensure I'm not doubling up on my time across projects....

Seven!
Is it possible to place a label the blue bars so that you can see what the tasks are without referring back to the tasks column?

Eight!
Do you have to type all the task dates in manually or can you click on a calendar anywhere?

Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Devon
Hi Davon,

sure - ConceptDraw Project 4 is famous for it :-)

1. Create the two projects in one file and than create another project like "combined" or "over all" - name it accordingly. I for instant like to do the scedule of the year in this way. I do have my seminars as single project and present all of this projects in a project called "year"...

2. Enter the 3. project and use the menu: "edit/insert project to project" while you are in the gantt view. Now you can insert the two other project into a combined view.

Best of all is: You now can work ether in the original project or in the combined project - the changes will be in both pages! Its very useful and powerful!

I would like to see this feature in the next version of ConceptDraw Project ;-)

Until now, you have to type it all in the traditional way - by hand...
