I have tried several option to export maps (power point, clipboard, pdf). Maps will be always bitmap graphics with background. But for presentation purposes (Keynote) it would be better to have pdf-graphics (Mac OS-X supports this natively, scaleable, shading support, transparency, ...) or at least bitmaps with transparent backgrounds. Currently I can't use any map within my presentations. It would be very helpful to have an solution for this problem.

Clemens
Thank you for suggestion Clemens. We will certainly modify MINDMAP exports but only next year.
Hi Clemens see my note to Tom regarding PDF files. Use apples Print and then Safe as PDF and you should be all set.
If you are running Leopard (OS 10.5) you can use the new Alpha tool to remove all backgrounds (can be used with videos also for vchats), but it can be a bit tricky the first time you use it as the background must be unique for it to work well.

Eric

I have tried a similar approach with Keynote (has the same feature, OS 10.4). The result was bad because of the antialiasing of lines. A other problem is that the background of a node will sometimes (partially) removed.

Clemens
