I just added a org chart "title" from the default org chart library - it supplies a nice bold font header and a second line with a date field - the date field is formatted in a Euro standard - is there a way to reformat the nice automatice date with an american standard?
so instead of 08.03.2007 the date is formatted as 08-Mar-2007 or something like that?

If you use Date object from the Title Blocks library it takes the date parameter from your system. Please check your system date format.
If you use some other object please specify which.
I used both the Title Blocks Library and the Organizational Chart Library - in both cases when I am dragging the object out - the date shows as "day Mon Year" (13 Mar 2007) but when dropped onto the document it changes into "13.03.2007"
attached are 2 screen shots - one showing my selected choice in the preference pane for date format. and the second showing a Conceptdraw snap of what it looks like

Dear Rich,
This appears only on Mac's. You can get date only in the numerical format.
We're sorry for the incovenience.
Will this oversight be corrected in the next release for the Macintosh platform?
What happens if a document is created on the PC and has the correct date format - and then is transferred to a Mac User?
Does the date "adapt" to the numerical Mac format or does it stay in the system formatted layout as defined by the PC?

We'll try to fix it asap, I can't tell you the exact date now. When you open win document on mac the dase is as on pc, but if you make any changes with the shape - even drag it - it will change to numerical format.
