Hi you, down there in Odessa,

I really appreciate to see, that I now can use the € sign (Euro) as currency within the new version of ConceptDraw Project! Sadly, part from this your new version is not the biggest achievement of ConceptDraw. Let me explain:

1. Closing empty gantt chart windows
I complained about it earlier: Every time, I start ConceptDraw Project, a new empty gantt chart window will be initiated. And if I wont to close this empty window, I'm asked, wether I would like to save it.
This behaviour is still valid and has not been changed with ConceptDraw Project 3.1! Your programers did indeed change something: If I open a new gantt chart window by using [Apple]+[N], the window will now close without further questions, as long as it is empty.
Could you stretch this behaviour to the starting window, in the next version? :icon_biggrin:

2. Network Diagram
The only change I see here is, by entering the Network Diagram for the first time, a Network Diagram is automaticly formed. You elimenated the question, wether I would like to update the window. But if I change anything in the gantt chart and reenter the Network Diagram, I will be asked again in the old fashon.
Problem is not the question, it is the behaviour going along with it. Let me explain again:
- I will be asked, wether I would like to update the Network Diagram, when I enter it.
- My answer is NO - for what ever reason!
- The Network Diagram will not change.
- If I close the window and reopen it, I will NOT be asked again and the Network Diagram will show a not updated view.
- I have no butten to update the Network Diagram by force.
- To change the Network Digram again, I have to change the gantt chart and reenter the Network Diagram and answer the question with YES.
This behaviour is still disappointing. In my opinion the Network Diagram should try to update its view as long as there is something to be updated! Therefore the question should be repeated every time I enter the Network Diagram, when the view is different from the data in the gantt chart!

You tried to change the two things I mentioned when ConceptDraw Project 3.0 was released, but with little success, I'm afraid. But as I know you folks down in Odessa, you will not stop trying to solve these problems untill it is done.

Besides: I miss an updated version of the whats new.txt - it is still from December '06 ;)

Yours sincerely
Gerhard Trimpin

Have a nice week!!!:)
Hello Natalya,

you should know by now, that I'm labled as "major pain in the a.." for a good reason ;)

But do me a favor and thank your programming folks for the good work they did so far. I still remember the time, when I had to do my planing without ConceptDraw MindMap and without ConceptDraw Project. So keep up the good work!

Natalie Wrote:Improved:
Complete zooming
In all other programs I use, zooming is done by [Apple]+[+] to zoom in and [Apple]+[-] to zoom out. Is there a reason, you used [Apple]+[=] to zoom in in ConceptDraw Project? Even in ConceptDraw MindMap 4.5 [Apple]+[+] is used for zooming in...

Indeed, I will have a very nice week ahead, because the flowering of crocusses in Husum, northern germany, is on its peak! So I will walk within an ocean of purple flowers these days. Look for your self:

This year the flowering will be even better than the panorama is showing. There will be no grass to be seen in the whole park.

Our programmers welcomed you all together! :)

There is a a good stopgap for you in the question of saving the blank file. You can open not the program itself, but the document you intend to work with. So, there will be no blank file there :)

Such zooming was made only for it to be user-friendly to manage it in one hand. But our programmers are working at it to be more Mac-like.
So, you will see it approximately in the next version :icon_razz:

Hello Natalya,

It's a pity you have't seen them in reality too :(

I live approximately 20 km north of Husum. So I can see it every year, if I wish to ;-)

Natalie Wrote:How was the seminar?

Smoth an easy - thanks to ConceptDraw MindMap and ConceptDraw Project! :icon_redface:
No realy! My speaches an the raw schedule of the seminar had been planed as a MindMap. And the 2 projects we initialised, we planed with ConceptDraw Project 3.1. And every Step in the development of each project, we beamed up to the wall.

Never had a better one with such positiv responces from the participators.
