I am working on house plans and sharing with several others for feedback. The easiest way has been to print to PDf and send it as an email attachment. But each successive PDF is larger than the last -- the size of the floorplan hasn't changed. Some elements change, but some versions have actually had more elements than recent renditions.

An early PDF was 2.2 MB (source cdd file was 900 kb); my latest PDf is 5.5 MB (source file is 1.4 MB). Granted the source file is somewhat bigger (due to adding small text labels to a rooms and various poorly-identifiable furniture elements). But the 1.4 MB source file is only 50% bigger than the earlier 900 kb version, while the 5.5 MB PDF is over 100% larger than the 2.2 of the earlier version.

Is there some type of linked data, archive information, or something else that is causing the files to keep getting bigger? Is the enormous jump in size really only due to adding text and some textures/colors (originals from the library)?

Today I sent the files as a JPG, which is a bit more complicated on at least one person's end (long story). But I'm still curious about the PDF files.
