I'm trying to lay out a sitemap using my own png thumbnails of web page designs.
Is there no way to give each image an outline, drop shadow etc? None of the commands (i.e. line etc.) work. :o(
What version of ConceptDraw PRO are you using now and under what OS?
I can add shadow to any imported PNG both on Mac and PC.
8.0.7.1 - I am upgrading to ...3 now.

I managed to find the drop shadow, but they are not editable and look dated (bit like PowerPoint 1987). The outline is what I need, otherwise the connectors seem to be floating in mid space (= not pretty).
Now you can add outlines to images manually. Or create objects with outlines and then fill them with textures where you can use your PNG files as textures.
Sorry, no idea how to do this.
a) when I select the imported image (.png) and go to the "Line" menu, whatever I select there has no effect on the display.
b) when I create a new shape and select the "Patterns" menu under "Fill" there's nowhere to select an image as a pattern.
OK. To create an outline manually you need to draw a rectangle without any fill around your PNG. This is not very convenient method but thus you can solve your problem.

To fill a rectangle with a texture select a recatangle and open the Texture Gallery

Then Add your PNG file as a texture

And resize a rectangle to fit a single PNG content as it will be tiled with this PNGs.

So use your PNGs as textures instead of importing them into a document.

P.S. I passed the issue to our developers for researching.
Hm, are these really the only options>
Are you planning to include this feature in an upcoming upgrade?
I use so many of my own images in the flows, especially for web sitemaps, where pages are often represented by their screenshot thumbnails. I need to do this fast and in a tidy format. Both your methods are neither the one, no the other, unfortunately.
Will do it for the next major release.
