I'm running ConceptDraw VI on a Mac (PowerPC). When I start the program, often, but not always, all the toolbars are missing. I go through and set them up again using the View->Toolbars menu, but when I restart the program, they are often missing again. How do I make them persist? What's the trick?
Hello there, Look I can see that there are 300 views for this thread, and not one response. I've got the same problem using an intel mac using osx10.4

is there a fix for this, it's really really irritating.

Many thanks
I just started another support ticket on this. Let's see if they can be of any help. I find the program pretty buggy overall. Maybe it is a programming error and there isn't a work-around. I agree, it is pretty irritating.

in the preferences you have a page with saving items. There is the one called: save workspace in document. Please look, weather this position is marked. As ConceptDraw MindMap has the option, to save the Workspace, but if the workspace will be saved in the document - witch makes sense - this option will not be available in ConceptDraw VI...

I would suggest to save an empty document with the workspace settings and all your required tools and reopen the program trough this file.

(Have not seen the 1st posting... sorry!)

Thanks for the tip, but, unfortunately, I have ConceptDraw VI and, you are right, it does not work. It has the option in Preferences, and I have had that checkbox checked all along, but it just doesn't work. I tried it without the checkbox too, and the program behaves the same.

unfortunately Ann has to deal with your problem then...

Did you downloaded the ConceptDraw VII Trial to see, weather this is working in the newer version?

Well, the new version has a completely different scheme so I don't know if the issue even applies. However, I'm not moved to buy the $99 upgrade just to cure this problem.
