Hi, I just upgraded to MindMap V5.05 for Mac and when I try and open and edit my existing projects they do not properly open. Problems include:

1) Incorrect fonts
2) Locations of branches are off
3) Colors are off
3) Inserted relationships do not show up

Will be difficult to use if I cannot open all of the work that I've already done...

what OS are you working with? I use ConceptDraw MindMap 5.04 MAC and don't have this problems... not entirely.

- Fonts are more or less intact. Some of the more exotic attributes are not shown when opened with 5.
- Branches look good on all the old maps I opened.
- Colours are all the same as used in 4.
- Relationships are not shown at all - this is the same in the mac version.

What OS are you working with and what version of ConceptDraw MindMap 5 are you using?

Let me show an old mind map. I altered it with relationships, splines, different branch forms, text differences... so it's not supposed to look good:):

There are 9 differences to pay attention to (I marked them by inserting numbers in circles:
1. The text of the Main idea is bordered. The text is aligned to the left. You can not change the border of the text, because the whole map will be converted to the default theme of Mind Map 5!
2. Not all the cliparts of MindMap 4.5 look good, when opened it with MindMap 5.04.
3. Special characters are not converted properly.
4. Not all the text attributes of MindMap 4 are still available in MindMap 5.
5. Background colour and margin of text are gone, when opened with MindMap 5.
6. Relationships are gone, when opened with MindMap 5.
7. This was the only time, font was not properly shown. And I opened app. 100 old MindMaps with MindMap 5. Therefore I can't agree, that fonts are incorrect.
8. Splines are not editable after opened with MindMap 5. I can enlarge or reduce them, but can't manipulate the shape...
9. Some of the special forms of branches are no longer available in MindMap 5 and can not be shown.

With minor problems, I'm still happy with what has been achieved with ConceptDraw MindMap 5.04 for mac. And I'm sure, these problems will be dealt with, so they will disappear one by one over the next weeks. I remember the change from ConcpetDraw 3.x to 4.0. It was similar and look what has become of the program!!!

Lets give the programers a little time, to look up what we came across.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I am traveling in Russia for the past 3 weeks. I will send the file and respond more later this week when I am back in California.

I am running CD 5.0.5 on Mac Powerbook G4 (1 Ghz, 1.5 Gb, OSX 10.4.10) and find CD is very slow when there a lots of branches.
