which has better features for brainstorming, flowcharts, org diagrams, software diagrams etc ... i have used visio but its very complex and lacks brainstorming features. would u recommend me to use conceptdraw tools over visio? and why? please give me some reasons why conceptdraw is better then visio ... i need to persuade my boss... :?

Mike, this is the mindmap section of Concept Draw. They have other software. Perhaps, someone from Odessa should reply.
Mike everithyng depends on what functionality you're looking for.
If you need program for brainstorming and mind mapping - this is definitely ConceptDraw MINDMAP. You can easily find a decision of any problem yourself using mind map or outline mode (these modes are totally synchronized) or have a brainstorming session with your team.
To make your brainstorm more effective we organized everything so that you can just type your ideas and press enter to start the new idea, we added timer that always shows you how much time left (you can always disable this function). After you've finished your brainstorming session you can continue working with all your idea in outline or map mode.
