Just downloaded and placed the updated v7 app in my folder. Started up great (as long as the app folder is in the main Applications folder). Was able to bring up my v1.8.5 docs with no problem. Now to get them resaved in the v7 state.
However, if I go and place the CD7 folder in a sub-folder of the main Applications folder I still get the error message that the Libraries won't load, even though the error message accurately shows the linkage info. Unless the App folder is in the main Applications, the CD app is just not able to access the libraries within the same folder even!
Like others on this forum who have indicated the same, I have a system set up wherein I place my application folders in very neat and tidy sub-folder arrangements, i.e. a sub-folder for all my graphics/photo apps, one for all my internet/www apps, one for all my music/ripping apps, and one for my business/word processing/charting apps (where I want to put CD7). Having everything out in the main Applications folder helter skelter is so messy and un-Macintosh like.
Is there going to be a fix that corrects this problem?:?

Dear Caarl, you have replaced only ConceptDraw.app? If you wish to move ConceptDraw to subfolder you need to move all ConceptDraw 7 Professional folder (with subfolders).
Or you can make a shortcut to ConceptDraw.app, place it anywhere and use to start software

Hi Julia,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I have been moving the whole Concept Draw 7 Pro main folder that contains the app, sub-folders and read-me's, etc. (I never separate an application from it main folder where all the support parts of the application also reside.) I still have the problem with the application not being able to link to the Libraries folder within the same folder as the application is residing.
Does anyone else on this forum experience this problem (on a Mac) when they move the whole ConceptDraw 7 Pro folder from the main Applications folder to another sub-folder within the main Applications folder? (I'm currently on a 2.16 GHz intel core duo MacBook Pro running the maximum 2 Gig of RAMM.)
Hi Carl, check PM for the link to full version :)
