Hello!

I am using ConceptDraw Professional Edition Version 4.5.2.0
Every time I format a Map (change the Line Style of Main Topics, for example) that contain accented words, my text become weird.

Why does it hapen?
Is there any way to prevent that?

Tks

Please check if you have a font Arial in your font library. I had similar experience when I started with ConceptDraw MindMap 4. At first I started to change the font type in all the different map styles, but it is easier to install Arial instead.

I'd try to reconstruct your problem with no success - hope this will help you as well!

Hello Gerhard!

Thank you for your reply to my thread...although it didn't solve my problem directly it pointed me what could be wrong...

I did have the Arial font installed on my PC, but the default font on the <Format Map> menu was ARIAL (Cyrillic)...so everytime I formatted a map all text was being converted to cyrillic...and that's why it looked so weirdIcon_wink

Thank you!

Regards

Rod
Hi Rod,
tell me what is your OS and how exactly are changing Line Style of Main Topics: using Toolbar od Dialog?
Hello Ann!

Thank you for your reply!
I am using Windows XP and I was changing Line Style of Main Topics using the Dialog table.

As I said on my previous post, I discovered the origin of my problem: the font on the dialog box was set to Arial Cyrillic, so when I changed the Line Style the font was changed as well...

Now I need help on other issue...I would appreciate if you could help me. (see topic created yesterday about libraries icons)

Thank you again

Rod
