ConceptDraw Community

I just upgraded from ConceptDraw Pro 1.8.5 (from 2002, not THAT old...) and ConceptDraw 7 Pro cannot open my ConceptDraw Pro 1.8.5 documents!

This is a HUGE issue for me. Does anyone know of any workarounds?

Also, ConceptDraw 7 Pro is crashing on me when opening Visio XML .vdx files. Is anyone else seeing this?

EDIT: ConceptDraw 7 Pro is crashing opening Visio XML .vdx files directly exported via Visio as well as ones converted from Visio binary files to Visio XML files using CS Odessa's own (very handy) web service.

Current version can't open documents from ConceptDraw 1.x, but in 3 weeks there will be release with full support of old ConceptDraw documents and Visio XML files. Wait a bit more ;) ...

P.S. If you need your old files in ConceptDraw 7 now, you can resave them in new format using ConceptDraw 6 (or send them to our support to convert).

That is great news! I can wait, and look forward to this upcoming release!
