Can VI import something like the following unimaginative text file and make it automatically into a chart, please? could V do that?

Dear Jonesse,
Surely, save it as text data and use import:
menu File-> Import-> Text data-> Outline

ConceptDraw will draw simple flowchart that you can edit then.

If you would like to get information in mindmap view use ConceptDraw MIDNMAP.
