Nowadays many people use laptops along with a desktop computer for their business purposes, and often computers have different operating systems. In this situation your business needs and personal preferences result in a problem: according to typical EULA you need to purchase additional software licenses for you laptop.

To support you in this issue and promote using of Windows along with Mac OS X we have changed our licensing policy. Now Single User license means that you may install the software on one Macintosh and one PC computer, or on single computer with crossplatform environment. This change will not impact on the current pricing.

Another great change covers business usage of ConceptDraw products. For those who acquire a Single User License of the software for business purposes, and install it on a single stand-alone computer, the primary user of the Software may also install it on either their portable or home computer, as long as the Software is not used on both computers concurrently, and with the permission of the business to do so.  The license is tied to the name user. I really applaud this! I have purchased the ConceptDraw Pro, Project, MindMap personally for OS X, and this license model allows me to take my "homework" to the office (Win XP) and work on it there, or present it there.
As the ConceptDraw apps work well when the install directory is copied to a USB-stick, this helps me greatly.

Bec Im happen to be that person who use laptop along with a desktop computer..I got both of them at my office work place(I do some work at home..plus my laptop is always with me..),and when I told my Boss that I really need some of ConceptDraw products installed..
He asked me :"Paul - are you sure we can afford it?"
And imagine my face look when I explaned him about this new license model from CDO guys..
So after that buying was just a matter of time=)
Im happy that today some ppl still think about their clients ..not in the way like Big Bill does
