You can make the weekends for the working days in your Project. In order to do it
follow the next instructions:
1. Change the working days in menu: Workspace\Workspace properties\Default calendar
Tick Saturday and Sunday. Click OK.
(Here you also can change working hours)
2. Then, in menu: Workspace\Change Working Time select all the days in the calendar and Set them as Default. Click OK.

Changing the weekends works only for one month. I have a project that last 2 years. Do I have to repeat the operation 24 times?

select all the days (not dates) in the calendar
It will change the default days for the whole project
